Nora England née Ward (1887–1970) was a British artist known as a painter, designer and illustrator.

Biography

England was born in London and was one of at least six children of

Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.[1][2] England was elected a member of the Royal Society of British Artists in 1920 and a member of the Society of Women Artists the following year.[1]

England married Frank De Fontayne England in 1915 and although she lived in London throughout her life, she died in Hampshire in 1970.[1]
