OIL (Ontology Inference Layer or Ontology Interchange Language) can be regarded as an
RDFS
.
OIL was developed by
IST
OntoKnowledge project.
Much of the work in OIL was subsequently incorporated into
DAML+OIL and the Web Ontology Language
(OWL).
