Peter B. Crombie (June 26, 1952 – January 10, 2024) was an American film and television actor.

Early life and education

Crombie was born on June 26, 1952, and raised in the suburbs of

Yale School of Drama before moving to New York City.[1]

Career

Crombie appeared in such films as

"Crazy" Joe Davola on Seinfeld. The name was used with the consent of Fox TV executive, Joe "Lennard" Davola.[2]

Crombie also made guest appearances on such television series as

and many others. Crombie wrote the script for the 2006 short drama Threshold.

Personal life

Crombie married Nadine Kijner in 1991 and the couple divorced a few years later.

Death

Crombie died after a brief illness on January 10, 2024, at the age of 71.[3][4]
