Robert 'Robin' Leslie Johns (born 30 June 1946) is a former English
off break. He was born in Southampton
, Hampshire.
Johns made his
fifty, came against Cambridge University.[3] With the ball, he took 13 wickets at a bowling average of 51.61, with best figures of 4/76.[4] In 1971, Johns joined Northamptonshire, making his debut for the county in the 1971 County Championship against Hampshire. He made five further first-class appearances for the county in 1971, the last of which came against Yorkshire.[1] In his six first-class matches for Northamptonshire, he scored a total of 62 runs at an average of 8.85, with a high score of 20.[2] With the ball, he took 4 wickets at an average of 14.75, with best figures of 3/20.[4] He made a single List A appearance for the county against Yorkshire in the 1971 John Player League.[5] He left Northamptonshire at the end of the 1971 season
