The second federal electoral district of Colima (Distrito electoral federal 02 de Colima) is one of the
state of Colima
.
It elects one deputy to the lower house of
first-past-the-post
system.
District territory
Under the 2022 districting plan, which will be used for the
Tecomán.[2]
Previous districting schemes
2005–2017
Under the 2005 districting scheme, the second district of Colima covered the
Tecomán.[3]
The district's head town (cabecera distrital), where results from individual polling stations are gathered together and collated, was the city of
Manzanillo
.
1996–2005
Between 1996 and 2005, the district had the same composition as at present, with the exception that it also covered
first district in 2005.[4]
