Simon Binnendijk
Simon Binnendijk (26 March 1821,

He received botanical training under
Moluccas.[1]
With
Capellenia, Eusideroxylon and Gonystylus, as well as numerous botanical species.[3] The specific epithet of binnendijkii commemorates his name,[1] two examples being Garcinia binnendijkii and Ficus
binnendijkii.
