  • 01:4601:46, 29 March 2023 diff hist +379 m KolkhozI plan on returning to this page and spiralling out a new section about the political background of the Kolkholz, mentioning the stagnation of the NEP, Stalin’s writing in Pravda 5th Feb 1931 and the Left and Right Bolshevik policies on industrialisation, but for now, I just added a brief addendum about the purpose/reason the peasants were paid so little for grain Tag: Visual edit

I have edited it accordingly. Tag: Visual edit

  • 01:5801:58, 3 September 2022 diff hist −337 Inductive reasoningCausal reasoning was listed as a form of inductive logic but (at least in philosophy) causal reasoning is a part of abductive or reterograde logic. It didn't have any citations and I think it is quite obviously wrong, so I removed that section. What do you guys think? Tag: Visual edit

  • 07:3207:32, 17 August 2020 diff hist +112 m Great PurgeAdding small details and corrections, the definition of Kulaks was incorrect or at the very least misleading - Stalin wasn’t just killing wealthy peasants, why would he do that? Why not just take back some of their land? No, Kulaks are quite specifically those who lend out equipment to other peasants, which greatly reduced grain yields in the SU. The other edit I made was just adding that Robert Conquest never actually visited the USSR in writing the book, nor was he involved in the purges. Tag: Visual edit
