I disagree with some of the deletions made on September 25, 2021 to the article "Cabazon Dinosaurs" by Magnolia677.

Magnolia677 justified his/her deletions by stating that the article is about the Cabazon dinosaurs, not Claude Bell (who built those large concrete structures). Magnolia677 then deleted about a third of the text relating to Claude Bell, stating that Bell's work at Knott's Berry Farm is irrelevant, even though that is where he honed his craft of creating life-size figures out of concrete, and he spent 35 years of his life working at Knott's, and he was working there while he built the Cabazon dinosaurs.

Magnolia677 also deleted most of the photos in the article, including the only two photos of Claude Bell!

By Maganolia677's logic ("This article isn't about Claude Bell, it's about the Cabazon dinosaurs...") then an article about the first moon landing should not include any photos of Neil Armstrong in it.

Sheesh.

Now, the article has a grand total of only ONE picture in it... Not good.

Hi! I saw your multiple reversions on my contributions and wanted to get more details other than your one-word explanations. You said not to add "spam from unreliable sources". If you look at my contribution to the University of South Florida, adding one other cafeteria/food option from the official website does not count as promo nor spam, same thing with the Glazer Children's museum, where I spoke about a historic event for the museum celebrating 10 years, also taken from their official website. Also, a wide range of museum Wikipedia pages have an exhibitions section, but the Tampa Museum of Art did not have one, which I added from their official website with the most accurate information yet was reverted, again, due to "promo." Informing about their permanent exhibitions is just facts, not promo. There are also no prices, hours, or anything of that nature included.

According to the "What Wikipedia is not" page that you referred me to, Wikipedia exists to offer "detail on a website's achievements, impact or historical significance, " meaning that my edits on the ZooTampa at Lowry, where I mention one of their achievements, being a fact, contributes to what Wikipedia exists for. This same page includes information about the programs they have to promote conservation, a section that already existed on that page. This, too, was said to be promo under your explanations.

Regarding the sources, I do recognize some of those were blogs, so I will make sure not to use those as I agree they can be unreliable. I will edit appropriately and add better sources to the edits that were rightfully reverted.

I can see you have been doing this for a while, so some further explanations when reversions are made from somebody who knows could really help me to learn and offer quality contributions to Wikipedia.

I always assume good faith and will not categorize your recent edits in the article Lincoln, Nebraska as a retributive editing spree within the article, since no reply was given to the above. It is somewhat hard to tell though, after your continued edits and removals within the article today without a reply back. Some edits I can agree with, but others make me wonder if you have read the article first before deleting. I implore you to please discuss your edits, since you may not be familiar with the area being discussed within the article, before resuming further removals or at least any further major edits in the article. Removing images can be delicate, because everyone wants to show off their personal photos. The only issue I still have is with the night skyline image. No worries :) . It's not a personal photo thing for me... the reason I started taking pictures of Lincoln all these years ago (not many as of late - priorities in life has shifted :/ ) is because before I did, there were very few photos of Lincoln, save for some random, historic photos/diagrams and a handful from a gentleman who lives 1.5 hours via Interstate west of the city. I really don't get it. I apologize for sounding like this. Although I know some of my edits are in good faith which is the reason why I want to talk to you on why you reverted my edits to explain some reasons on why you reverted them. Here's some of the things I noticed on the following edits:

• On the edit of WSBN, the edit was to reflect the new name of the Washington Football Team given that they're no longer named the "Redskins". This was done in good faith and it was necessary to ensure clarification.
• On the edit of Astral Media. Also in Good Faith because it was to reflect the new name of the owners.

The others still needs some work, including the section regarding to Jackson, Mississippi which has little to no information on transpiration and some of these elements, including highways, are in the Geology section. If you're still up to debate, feel free to talk about it.

Well, of course, I am aware the team name is old. Even if the team name is formerly used, it goes to a redirect. If they're still broadcasting matches from the team that changed its named, of course its mentioned. Of course, its not used all the time. I keep trying to edit the Demopolis page to make it accurate and up to date (because its so inaccurate in some areas) and was even asked by city government officials to do so, yet you guys (you and that person with Batty in their username) keep reverting my edits? What is your deal? I properly cited the sources so this isn't a case of vandalism. I'm really curious as to how I am not allowed to edit the page, although I am from the town that is the subject of the page, and you are. Please don't tell me Wikipedia has some kind of caste system outlining who is allowed to edit articles and who is not. If you are going to somehow ban me from making edits to my own hometown's page, fine, but at least go and take another look at my edits. I trust that you'll find that at least some of them should be reverted back and the edits allowed to stay. The citizens of this town deserve to have a Wikipedia page representing them that isn't filled with outdated and inaccurate information.

Update. I just got an email back from the town official who tasked me with editing the page. Hi Magnolia,

I noticed you had changed some edits I had made regarding two listings of recipients of the Nobel prize. This is not meant as disruptive editing, but to accurately provide information to that page. James Orbinski was not a recipient of the Nobel Prize. For someone to be included on this list they should actually have their name on the Nobel Prize, but in this case this is not so. In the case of William Faulkner, he did receive the prize no doubt however, he does not have a direct connection to the University of Toronto, as he had military training as the sources indicate by the No. 4 School of Aeronautics. I noticed this had been edited previously and reverted during previous discussions. It seems there may have been some misunderstandings as to what should be included on this list and William Faulkner while he was stationed in Toronto at a time, did not receive any formal training by the University of Toronto, but by the military. If this sort of connection would be valid this would open up the door to many connections to be included on this list and for many places, which would be a little ridiculous. Just thought I'd bring this up to you so you might reconsider the inclusion of these two individuals.

Please don't throw around language that I am engaging in 'disruptive editing' on the Spokane Valley, Washington article edit summaries. That is an assumption of bad faith and is not consistent with the pillars of Wikipedia, please assume good faith while trying to work collaboratively on the project. Please think before you speak and be mindful of other people's feelings and how they may be interpreted. I am not trying to be disruptive or act in bad faith, I am being as collaborative as possible while giving a passionate explanation of why I disagree with you and that other editor with that particular edit, I even made compromises to address your 'duplicate' (more accurately derivative, which is not the same) complaint; you reverted me, I reverted you, its all part of the process. I was going to reach out through other means besides edit summaries if my last compromise didn't work, which is obviously found out by a revert-which I wasn't planning on contesting again because I don't think its worth arguing further about. If you say disagreement = disruptive editing, then it seems like you are just trying to sideline and silence me and the edit I wanted to make that you clearly don't like. Saying I'm engaging in 'disruptive editing' is also almost like saying I am trying to sabotage the article or prevent it from being improved, which is honestly pretty hurtful and insulting to me and a real slap in the face after I've been working on this article for months now. I have just about doubled the size of the article and definitely improved its quality, adding about 60 citations. And as I said, I am not going to put the photo of the skyline in the infobox, not worth my time arguing about it. Maybe we can get another photo of the 'skyline' later and hopefully more pictures will be uploaded to the Commons so someone can make a decent looking montage without duplicates later.

Although I have found it hard to contribute to the article with you scrutinizing every edit, I am satisfied with the progress that has been made with it so far. Since you from Mississippi, I am not sure why you have taken such a hawkish interest in the development of this Start-Class article of a mid sized city in Washington state that gets under 100 pageviews per day, but it's great you want to help. I would be happy to work with on it further despite the disagreements from time to time. If you really are interested in helping the article, all I think we need now before prepping it for a GAN is to add content to the History section and start the Economy section. I plan on digging into a few books I have on the city to fill in the rest of the article. Feel free to help. Valparaiso, Indiana history section

Hi, I'm hoping you can help me understand how to appropriately source the assertion that Valparaiso, Indiana (my home town) purposefully excluded racial minorities for much of its past. This is a major fact in the history of a town.

I have cited two authoritative sources. One is a registry of sundown towns curated by a university professor who is cited for his work in the Wikipedia page on Sundown Towns. While it may appear a personal website, it is a research product and a registry that is now maintained by others since the original professor passed away. Note at the bottom of home page for the registry, it says "This site was created by Matt Cheney, copyrighted by James W. Loewen and heirs (Nick Loewen) 1997-2021, and is maintained by Phil Huckelberry and Stephen Berrey. Hosted by Tougaloo College, Tougaloo, MS, 39174 and facilitated by Pantheon."

The second source is a book about the history of housing discrimination in Valparaiso, Indiana with specific focus on an early African-American family that began to integrate the town. It was written in 1984, much closer to the time period in question and details a litany of exclusionary measures taken earlier by town residents. It wasn't the way you sourced it, it was what you sourced. The source needs to be a reliable one, and it needs to support what you are asserting. The actual style looks like this:

Hi, about a year ago I added Francis Preston "Pete" Peterson -- competitive surfer, accomplished waterman, consultant and stuntman in film -- to the list of notable people associated with the Rockport, Texas on the page for that town. I included references to two articles online^[1][2], both of which mention that he came from Rockport and describe his many "legendary" accomplishments and status as a national champion, as a surfer, waterman, innovative designer of boats and surfboards, etc.

The latter article also points to numerous other references crediting his national reputation and widely-recognized prowess.

I'm not expert enough at reading edit logs on Wikipedia to be certain, but it appears that you deleted his mention several months later, perhaps along with others, with the comment "not notable".

I'm inclined to reinstate him in that list, but thought I'd ask first for you to elaborate on your judgement that he is (or was) not notable. Or, given that you appear to be much more experienced than I am at arbiting Wikipedia standards (I think this was only my second ever edit to a Wikipedia article), is there something specific about the way that I describe him in that one line, or the citations I included, that could be changed to make his notability more apparent or more accomodating of Wikipedia standards?

I included him after a fair bit of digging through historical records, and becoming fascinated by his accomplishments, and especially fascinated by the fact that his association with Rockport (his family ran hotels in that area) was not known to current Rockport "elders" with whom I'd discussed Mr. Peterson.

Can you tell Chariton, Iowa what was missing about my revision to the article from Chariton, Iowa. I am from the area and know it well. I am not sure how to cite references for common things such as railroads and highways as well as airports that are generally known by virtue of being from the area. I have spend an hour trying to find how to talk with you again. I have thought long and hard about this and I want to close my account. When I get into the into the inside of Wikipedia, I looked at other peoples interactions and there is so much animosity and backbiting (inflammatory statements from superusers that people are vandalizing accounts, etc.) that it makes me very uncomfortable. I do not care for the things I have read and the ways people are treated. I used to think that I would like to do this as a hobby and have a number of articles that I have improved, but I cannot stand the strife and I am always afraid I will be the next target of someone. It makes me very uncomfortable and this is not how I want to spend my retirement years. I will continue to contribute financially to Wikipedia because I believe in it but I do want my account closed, deactivated, made invisible or whatever you do to remove me as an active editor and make it so I cannot edit anymore. If it invalidates all the articles I have edited so be it. Please make it so, I can not figure it out and am so confused trying to do this

I'm not sure why standards are being applied to my edits differently from the rest of the content. None of the ethnic groups listed in "other" are referenced with citations, but they are allowed to stay, while mine is removed for lack of citation. Similarly, many of the cities in the category in question do not mention Ukrainians specifically in the main article, yet the category is allowed to remain for those communities, but it is removed for Omaha and Lincoln. Further, the Ethnic groups article for Omaha does already mention immigration from Kiev, which is the capitol of Ukraine. Reference to the German-American Society is exactly as given by another editor in the main article, which has not been removed, but my reference to it under Ethnic groups for Omaha, where I believe it belongs, was removed. In addition, it seems a bit much to have to prove the existence of an ethnic group in a city through outside sources or citation is scholarly papers. If that ethnic group has been quiet and hasn't had a feature story in a newspaper of record, how is one to prove the existence? Despite the fact that they currently have an operating church, a physical building with an address, which exists, a website for that church, an ethnic Association which doesn't get in the news much except in passing mention, but none of these are a satisfactory citation or proof. Well, some of the ethnic groups mentioned in the same article don't even have that much, and no citation for their existence, no doubt due to the same difficulty, yet their mention seems acceptable and is allowed to remain. That would be malicious. It would be deliberately making the Wikipedia article less accurate and less informative - less honest, in short, since I would be deliberately removing information I know to be true, simply because though easy to verify, it is virtually impossible to cite. I don't think that is the intent of Wikipedia. I know that there are Lithuanian and Serb and Croatian communities in Omaha, because I know them and have been in their halls, and sang in their choirs, eaten in their homes and celebrated at their festivals. But there is no qualifying citation for that. However, I will not maliciously remove that information knowing that the result will be a less accurate and less balanced article. A new editor, SkunkaMunka, has been replacing numerous maps to an "interactive map" -- sometimes these new maps don't even geolocate to the correct city (see Colorado Springs map that geolocated to Denver - [I reverted]). I feel like this editor might be trying to make improvements, but don't yet understand how things work on WP (AGF) or there might be something else going on (?). Either way, they really need to use the talk pages before making these types of changes. The reason I'm contacting you is that I noticed that you had some interactions with them on other geographic articles, so it seems you are a good person to contact for insight. Hi Magnolia677, I've seen some users complain about your reverting of edits in the past, and although I have no special powers, I wanted to weigh in so it could be resolved in an amicable way.

In the discussions I have seen, you revert previous edits by other users, since the information they provide doesn't include citations. When you do this, I don't believe you are following the guidelines layed out in Wikipedia:Disruptive editing. While the page does say that disruptive editing is disruptive regardless of intention, it refers to information that is not verifiable, not relevant, first-hand, mis-interpreted, etc. Some edits like the one at Hampton Falls, New Hampshire are cleary impartial data that comes from a source. If the user, however, forgets to cite the source, you can use {{citation needed}} tags, or leave a message on their talk page to make sure they read it.

Even if a disruptive editing warning were appropriate, you should use a level 1 template, when the edit is bona fide. If it is not clear whether there was malicious intent, Wikipedia policy is to generally assume good faith (Wikipedia:WikiProject User warnings/Usage and layout). Wikipedia warns that not all disruptive editing is vandalism, and the Wikipedia:Disruptive editing explicitly mentions that editors shouldn't over-escalate situation clearly not vandalism, in order toavoid driving away users. @Magnolia677: I'm sorry but I do not think that page supports your argument. It recommends using {{citation needed}} tags instead of deleting, unless the information is particularly harmful (like living people). It also recommends providing a citation yourself if the information is ready at hand. If an edit is clearly verifiable, but you can't easily find a source that supports it, consider leaving a message to the user in their talk page so that they can fetch it themselves.

In any case, it doesn't really warrant a {{subst:Uw-disruptive3}} tag. If you deem it necessary, you can delete the information to be restored later when the sources are available, but I don't really see the case for a disruptive editing tag that requires bad faith. Quick question on something involving the Roslyn Estates history section.

One of the things which has been removed a couple of times was the following (there were citations): "In March 2011, Roslyn Estates held one of its most contested elections for Mayor, in which incumbent Susan Ben-Moshe lost by 10 votes to Jeffery Schwartzberg; Ben-Moshe received 178 votes while Schwartzberg received 188."

I know you said it's "not notable" in the history section but I am confused as to why that is. On the

page, it recommends that topics which should be included in a history section include (but are not limited to) "occupying powers/transitions of power" and "events that shaped the community." The way I see it, the removed information quoted above fits both categories. There are many small villages on Long Island. Elections in tiny villages here on Long Island (like Roslyn Estates) can be very big deals when they become contested and/or contentious (like the one referenced in the removed material). In fact, they can become so dramatic or tight that major papers (i.e.: Newsday and sometimes even the New York Times) report on them.

I don't want to re-add it again without consulting you first. I feel it's notable but that's just my opinion. I'd love to hear and better understand why you feel the way you do about this removed material so I can better understand what is/isn't wise to put into this type of section.

It is valuable and relevant to mention, briefly, *in the history section* that historical places existed within the boundaries of the township (now borough). These places appear on Google maps, were referenced from a reliable source, and give historical context to the current landscape. Comparing this borough to other boroughs within Pennsylvania, many others mention the current and historical villages and communities that lie within their borders. I therefore disagree with your statement, "This is unrelated to Plum". They are in Plum, they are related to Plum. It's not like they are big enough to get their own article, that would be silly. According to the guidelines, small entities that are not worthy of their own article can be mentioned in the article of their controlling jurisdiction. I know you've worked on some on the Mississippi side, but would you happen to know about potential sources for a couple in Louisiana? While working on some articles related to the Vicksburg campaign, I've come across references to New Carthage, Louisiana and Duckport, Louisiana. Based on the mentions I'm finding in Vicksburg literature, New Carthage is almost certainly notable. There was a landing at Duckport, although there may have been a community as well. Unfortunately, the Vicksburg sources are mainly focused on when military operations were there, so it's hard to get a good view of the history of these places. Are you aware of any sources that could be used to maybe produce something at least start-class on New Carthage and something for Duckport if its notable? Disruptive editing

Excuse me, I'm working on translating from spanish wikipedia and I'm taking special care to have as much references as I can. As you can see the actors and personalities whose articles I have created are consolidated personalities of the chilean culture, none of them are under 40 years old or has a minor scale career. I don't see how my editions "disrupts progress toward improving an article or building the encyclopedia". At Renato Munster, when you were forced to add a source to support your edits, it showed that much of what you added was either unsourced or incorrect. @KazakDexter and Netherzone: Let me suggest a workaround which would likely be of more benefit to readers. The "Moab to Monument Valley Film Commission" is located in Moab, and is a city department.

It is the oldest film commission in the world.

Readers would benefit from knowing about the commission, and it would be perfectly acceptable to say "the commission has overseen the production of several movies filmed near Moab, including...".

I suggest it be placed in the "economy" section of the article. I also don't think the commission is notable enough for its own article.

The first part of the topic is the government. How is the county governed and by whom? The second part concerns the politics of the county. How did the county vote in presidential elections from 1912-2020? Is it a Democratic/Republican stronghold or is it a swing county? What is the trend that the county's election results are following? White Latin Americans article

Hi Magnolia677 , if you have the time would you mind taking a look at the White Latin Americans article, I'm currently reading on Latin American history and am concerned that the article is riddled with errors by a number of editors to promote a certain image of Latin America that is not based in fact. For example, some of the facts and figures in the Mexico section are really vague and evidently false, (often contradicting US government statistics) however any edits make to correct it are frequently reverted by these editors who go on to provide dubious sources in Spanish. As a result, the article in very unencyclopedic and cannot be relied upon as a resource for academic study. Would you be able to take a look at this or contact an editor who can? Thanks!

If had ready access to a reliable source of this data, the way that the person who obviously created most of the school district articles did years ago, I would gladly help to do that. For now, I am hoping that there are people who live in most of the districts who will at least see this and update the one for their county/city/area. Not sure why you feel it is necessary to undo my work on these. All of the people I listed on the Maple Heights page except one are grads of Maple Heights High School. I went to school with two of them, Bruce Grooms (who is a legend in Maple Heights for his accomplishments) and Dale Mohorcic. My brother graduated with Ric Ocasek. Len Kosmalski was captain of the MH Mustangs basketball team. As for Masin, who you indicate "only went to school there... " Good grief, how picky do you want to be? Look at the Charleroi, PA page. It mentions that Olive Thomas (movie actress) is from Charleroi. That's it. But on the Charleroi page it certainly lists her as one its notable people.

As far as Brooklyn Heights, where I now reside, there are "Home of" signs for Kelli Stack when you enter the Village, and Flip Saunders was also a legend (father passed away only a few years ago). Both attended Cuyahoga Heights High School - all Brooklyn Heights, Valley View and Cuyahoga Heights, Ohio students attend this school system. The villages, while suburbs of Cleveland, are small. Typical graduating classes at the high school are less the 80. If you wish I will take a pic of the Kelli Stack sign and put it on her page, and find an article for Saunders that shows where he grew up, add it to his article and footnote it.

I believe you are being purposely vague. Define "significant." If one's growing up in a community and graduating high school from that community's school district isn't "significant" and defines one's home town, I don't know what is.

@Apfenn1: Let's say that instead of spending part of your retirement volunteering at Wikipedia, you instead decided to volunteer at a local food bank, where your supervisor says, "just remember, one can of tuna per person". Then you see someone who you feel deserves two cans, so you give them two, and then the volunteer supervisor politely admonishes you. So instead of saying, "ok, you have rules for volunteers, I need to follow them"...instead you start pushing back and questioning the rules, because you feel you're right. At some point you'll be told to hit the road, because the rules have been agreed upon long before your arrived. Same with Wikipedia...lots of rules that have been agreed upon. If you don't like them, then propose a change, but don't push back against a volunteer who believes in them and enforces them, because that volunteer--like me--probably cares way more about the integrity of Wikipedia then they ever will about your feelings. An IP editor who appears to be switch IPs regularly edits articles to add 2020 population figures, he always removes the |estyear= and |estimate= fields as well. This causes a cite error.
I spot the cite error, and add the fields back.
You revert to before the problem occured.

@ActivelyDisinterested: Ah, ok. My concern is that the edits you are making to fix the problem are actually making it worse. As an example, look at Gates, New York. The IP editor removed the 2019 estimate, and added a 2020 population. This caused a citation error. But the real problem with the IPs edit was that it was unsourced. At that point you could have reverted it; or tagged it as "citation needed"; or gone to the website for the US census and found a source to support the 2020 population which the IP added without a source. Instead, you added back the 2019 estimate. This fixed the cite error, but now the article has two errors instead of one. First, the 2020 population figure is unsourced. And second, the article has a 2020 population figure, and a projected population for 2019. Why would readers went a 2019 estimate, if a genuine census figure is available for 2020? I would like to point out this claim itself is unsourced and no one has questioned it on that page. The edit I made, was merely to change "southwestern part of Broward County" to "southwestern part of urbanized Broward County"; I know the previous wording to be technically incorrect (and I can verify that by looking at a map of the county) and I was merely correcting this technicality. I don't know how I would cite a map to make that change to the sentence. I should find a source for the entire claim itself (which I did not write) and I will look for one, but don't think it made much sense to just revert my edit. The historical images that I added to the pages for Shawnee, Colorado; Alma, Colorado; Fairplay, Colorado document the history of the towns in Park County and are intended to expand the coverage in the pages and make the images available to a wider audience. The community in Park County, Colorado, researchers, and students are very much interested in those unique historical photographs, and readers of Wikipedia will benefit from learning about the rich history of Park County and seeing the visual record. The historical photographs were collected by community members and volunteers of the Park County Local Archive and were recently digitized at high resolution for the digital archive. The images are of high quality. Of course, some show signs of time as the original photographs are over 100 years old. However, these are historical documents and should not be altered. Sorry, I am currently working maybe 300+ edits a day. So I must have missed that one, even though I am taking your concern very seriously, and always trying to ensure proper source/cited in the original article. I know it varies from page to page and article to article, and I really did not see how this is so critical on the "Notable people" list portion ONLY (I would 100% agree on the other hand that the information should be well cited on the article itself). Maybe you can start editing for the NYT and other very established American art institutions on matters of high culture in the USA.

Sorry, there is consensus with NYT, Metropolitan Museum of Art, the over 80+ artworks donated to the National Gallery of Art, and if you bothered and had access to a decent uni library database, basic research, not just arrogant "Oh I don't know" dismissiveness, you'd see obits all over the USA in c. 1987. In your arrogant position, you feel your take, with no knowledge, requires consensus. Sorry, you need to educate yourself. And you show bias, a "left-wing rag"? You should be reported to higher up Wikipedia.

Re. you message on my page. As you will see this is the first dispute I have had with anyone, while your history can be seen above. I left a message with Kinu. I have asked him a number of questions about how one disputes the reverting by an editor clearly unknowledgeable with the content who won't take 10 minutes to learn the content and who has shown a bias against the NYT-- and for an obit. If one doesn't like the NYT, fair enough, one could replace with a range from newspapers across the US, as opposed to deleting.

We are two kinds of editors. I often clean up inline citations for others, as a long ago editor and uni educator. I don't slash and burn content I don't know about.

Kinu, maybe this is cultural. There is no incivility here. You have a BA in Econ from Yale. I studied a few Econ modules. I would not revert anything on an Econ content page without knowing the content, or looking into it.

Ok, here's my last attempt before I go to the dispute page. The two complaints are (A) not wiki page. That's not true: Elza Temary has a page, and that was wiki-linked, but was considered not notable; and Tremaine has Miller Company Collection of Abstract Art with first paragraph: "The Miller Company Collection of Abstract Art (c. 1945-55) was formed in Meriden, Connecticut as part of the Miller Company. The collection was formed by then-CEO Burton Tremaine, Sr. and his wife/Miller Co. art director Emily Hall Tremaine in c. 1945." The whole page is about that work, and it is why if you checked in proquest, you will see hundreds of articles.

Second, the expert bit. It talks about sources as most important. Fair enough. One tries to be minimal. Well, you've got an obit in the NYT as a sample obit, and any number across the US seen in proquest could be used, but the NYT is online. Then you have a full article in Santa Barbara magazine that is offline; there are many offline. Do these not show notability? If adding for example a Metropolitan Museum website profile, or a National Gallery of Art page showing 80+ donated works, or a sample news article, all over US news in several cities, with works sold in two big record-breaking auctions in the late 1980s, does this convince of notability in this context? Guys, you may not have heard of her because you are younger, but you really then need to read the Miller Company Collection of Abstract Art. She and her husband owned it. I would not advise 4 articles for this stuff: her, her husband, their Miller Co collection, the later Tremaine collection. If you look at the end President Obama was photographed with one of her works. There is a whole list of the biggest artists in the 20th century.
