Sunil Borkar is a

director of photography and visual effects artist, from Vadji, a farming village in northeastern Maharashtra. His recent film, The Fable.[1] staring Manoj Bajpayee, Deepak Dobriyal and Priyanka Bose will compete in the Berlin International Film Festival 's[2] Encounters segment[3], It is only the second Indian film in the last 30 years to premiere in one of the key competitive sections of the Berlin International Film Festival.[4]. He[5] shot the film on super 16 mm[6][7]. He lives in Mumbai and has been a part of many Hindi Feature films such as Netflix's "Sacred Games"[9] and "Eternally Confused & Eager for Love," Amazon's "Afsos," Disney+`s "Saas Bahu Aur Flamingo," and Viacom18`s "Baazaar."[10]

Due to his interest in computer science, he studied animation and started working as an animator in Pune. Later he worked as VFX supervisor in many films.
