Since 1992 Atli Heimir Sveinsson has received an honorary salary from the [[Alþingi|Icelandic Parliament]]. Atli Heimir was elected a member of the [[Royal Swedish Academy of Music]] in 1993. Atli Heimir Sveinsson (born 1938) is an Icelandic composer.
