Susan Brnovich is an Arizona Superior Court Judge and is a nominee to be a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Arizona.
Biography
Brnovich earned her Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Science and Juris Doctor from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
She served for eight years as prosecutor with Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. She later served five years as a commissioner on the Maricopa County Superior Court, where she presided over numerous criminal jury trials. She currently serves as a trial court judge on the Maricopa County Superior Court, where she has served since being appointed by former Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano in January 2009.[1] Prior to assuming the bench, Brnovich served for eight years as prosecutor with Maricopa County Attorney’s Office.[2]
