Todd Wallace Robinson (born 1967)[1] is an Assistant United States Attorney from California who is a nominee to be a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.
Education
Robinson earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center.[2]
Legal career
Prior to becoming Senior Litigation Counsel in 2005, he had served in various other roles in the United States Attorney's office since 1998. He currently serves as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of California, where he serves as Senior Litigation Counsel in the Criminal Division.[2]
Nomination to district court
On September 12, 2019,
Rule XXXI, Paragraph 6 of the United States Senate.[4] On February 13, 2020, his renomination was sent to the Senate.[5] His nomination is currently pending before the Senate Judiciary Committee. A hearing on his nomination before the Senate Judiciary Committee has been scheduled for June 10, 2020.[6]
