- ←Created page with 'The '''Oernant Tramway''' was a horse drawn tramway which connected slate quarries located to the North-West of Llangollen to the Pentrefelin canal wharves at Llantysilio. The tramway was built in the 1850s reaching a maximum length approaching seven miles by 1857, and was used until about 1896. The tramway had gravity worked inclines, and was horse drawn on the level sections. == History of the line == The arrival of the canal in Llantysilio in 1806 offer...')
- 11:59, 3 July 2023 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Mercury Truck & Tractor Company (First stub - more to come as time permits hopefully tracking the evolution of the products and helping anyone to who finds one to understand what it is (I found one exhibited last week and couldn't easily discover what it was))
- 23:03, 2 March 2023 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page New Brighton, Wrexham (I was curious as to why this was renamed New Brighton (already mentioned in disambiguation), and I thought that by creating this page maybe others might add further information. It is only a hamlet, so this small entry might be all it ever receives, but better than nothing.)
- 12:31, 22 January 2023 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Palladium Autocars (First entry - hopefully find some more details and some photos in due course)
- 16:18, 18 October 2022 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Martin Mill military railway (First pass, links and references to follow (though it was a very 'secret' railway))
- 22:52, 28 June 2022 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Turner Manufacturing Company (First draft - I have to beef up the references and add info on the Light Vehicles Division, and Aircraft Parts. Main reaosn for creating this was to satisfy references to Turner diesels - as they are a bit of a mystery. More to come)
- 11:13, 15 April 2022 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page William Boulton (engineer) (First pass - should be able to expand on the inventions and their contribution to the industry at a later time)
- 14:09, 22 February 2022 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Waverley Cars (First draft - just about wnough to be useful. Will dig out some more info, and shoud be able to upload an image too, and maybe a company paage.)
- 22:45, 31 January 2022 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page GER Class G14 (Found the lithograph and decided this warranted a stub to go with it - not sure what more I can add unless I upload some of the plans from the referenced article in The Engineer, but it has a URL and is directly accessible to the public)
- 14:05, 29 December 2021 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Zoller supercharger (First draft (or is that draught?) more to come)
- 23:22, 26 December 2021 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Wade supercharger (Just a first go at this - intend to come back with more info later - both on applications and patents.)
- 23:53, 25 December 2021 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Marshall supercharger (First cut - more to come when time permits)
- 10:24, 24 December 2021 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Shorrock supercharger (Initial stub - lots more to come but it is Xmas eve and I have things to do)
- 23:41, 10 December 2021 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page War Office Subsidy Scheme (I have seen many references to subsidy models in relation to WW1 trucks, but was unable to find a decent explanation, so decided it was time to create a page here as this was important in the development of trucks. This is first go, not sure of category.)
- J. Tylor & Sons(Just a start on this, more to come. It seemed odd that an engine manufacturer useed in WW1 and in lifeboats should have no Wikipedia entry.)
- 15:22, 23 November 2021 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page File:HeathcotesSteamPlough.jpg (A wood cut of John Heathcote's steam plough as demonstrated at Red Moss at Boulton-le-Moors in Lancashitre on 20th April 1837. The demonstration was for the benefit of a deputation from the Highland and Agricultural Society of Scotland. Construction and management of the machines was by a Mr Parkes, employed by John Heathcote. To cope with the soft ground a tracked system was adopted. Wooden slats 7 foot long were fastened to a continuous iron band which was moved by the 'drums' at either end...)

I will elaborate on the locos and the surviving examples, and hopefully find a photo. This company is the root of the 'Planet' trademark well know in narrow-gauge and up til now with largely unexplained origins.)
- 14:28, 10 October 2021 Oldnoccer talk contribs created page Parsons Engineering (Just a small stub to start - the British Newspaper Archive website is now playing up, so can't search the 1920s. Will continue to add when time permits. Parsons' engines were used in Baguley railcars, and other locos as well as boats so more to come)
