If you are unable to complete a move for technical reasons, you can request technical help below. This is the correct method if you tried to move a page, but you got an error message saying something like "You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reasons:..." or "The/This page could not be moved, for the following reason:..."

  • To list a technical request: edit the Uncontroversial technical requests subsection and insert the following code at the bottom of the list, filling in pages and reason:

    {{subst:RMassist|current page title|new title|reason=reason for move}}

    This will automatically insert a bullet and include your signature. Please do not edit the article's talk page.
  • If you object to a proposal listed in the uncontroversial technical requests section, please move the request to the Contested technical requests section, append a note on the request elaborating on why, and sign with ~~~~. Consider pinging the requester to let them know about the objection.
  • If your technical request is contested, or if a contested request is left untouched without reply, create a requested move on the article talk and remove the request from the section here. The fastest and easiest way is to click the "discuss" button at the request, save the talk page, and remove the entry on this page.

Technical requests

Edit this section if you want to move a request from Uncontroversial to Contested.

Uncontroversial technical requests

Contested technical requests

This pair of move
was discussed. The request to revert it couldn't go into the category "Requests to revert undiscussed moves". The move wasn't recent as it has been done for more than a month. The move was uncontroversial as no one objected for more than a month despite the discussion I opened. This technical request has been wrongly accepted as there is evidence of opened discussion. The technical request was controversial as I stated the reason in the discussion. The old title spread inaccuracy which is a serious issue. The technical request has been accepted so fast it didn't give me the time to move it under the contested technical resquests. Due to my lack of experience into such situation, I have made the mistake of going into a very complicated procedural mess instead of contesting the technical request that have created serious inaccuracy issue. I now demand for the revert of the unjustified technical request. If someone want to oppose to the new title, he should have have gone through a RM process giving proposition and arguments instead of filling false "request to revert undiscussed moves" even if he does it whith good intention. I do not object the good faith of anyone. SH4ever (talk) 21:40, 10 June 2021 (UTC)[reply

You are compounding the procedural mess by trying to re-open it here instead of a proper RM proposal. Dicklyon (talk) 00:57, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
