St Peter and St Paul is a

History

It was built in 1844 by the architect Lewis Vulliamy, and the eastern parts were added in 1903 by Sir Arthur Blomfield.[1] It was paid for with £5,000 of his own money by Robert Boothby Heathcote, the then rector of All Saints, Chingford, who was concerned about the poor condition of that church.[2]

On 28 June 1954, the church was designated a

Grade II* listed building.[1]
