Strand Church (

Sør-Østerdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The white, wooden church was built in a rectangular design in 1863 using plans drawn up by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The church seats about 300 people.[1][2]

History

The people of Strand had long desired their own local church due to the more than 30-kilometre (19 mi) long journey to the

consecrated on 2 December 1863.[3][4]
