If a source can be found, it would be worth mentioning that this was the first Pittsburgh mayoral election since

1989 in which the Republican Party did not have a nominee on the ballot, as well as the first since 1989 without any opponent listed on the ballot. SecretName101 (talk) 23:36, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply
