Like with S.O.S., and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series finale, I am proposing that we change the titles of Absolution (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Ascension (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), into Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3 finale, because the episodes aired at the same time, like the season 2, 6, and 7 finales. 2 and 7 are one article, 6 is not yet created, and why should ascension and Absolution be 2 different articles? We combine the articles together to form one article, like the s2 finale, the s6 finale, the s5 premiere, and the s7 finale. PhilCoulson20 (talk) 17:02, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I get it. Just, consider that the show's creaters gave the show(s) two different titles. I might make sense to recognize their intent.
SOS was the name of both episodes (with Part 1 and Part 2), so it is logical to group them together. The final 2 episodes are at one article because there was not enough information for the first episode to justify its own article (but that is still being considered) so a joint article was made. At the moment, both Ascension and Absolution have enough separate info to justify their splits. Just because they aired on the same day doesn't automatically make them candidates for a combined article. You have to see what the sources present for them. How so? You have two episodes called "Part 1" and "Part 2", so having both at one article works. With Absolution and Ascension, there is no immediate indication that they are related, so having 2 articles works. And as mentioned, when the final 2 episodes of season 7 were being crafted, they started as 2 individual articles because they also had separate titles. But as they were being built, it was found the sources all talked either about the very last episode or the finale as a whole, so it made sense to make them one episode. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 13:53, 8 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's sill escapist T.V., so like whatever it is cool.
How does it being escapist T.V. have any bearing on us following proper titling procedures? We have in these articles and the other examples given. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 02:41, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
