I added the tags because the large middle paragraph on criticism of the Institute, and the examples given, is not referenced, and thus it may have been the POV of the editor who added that material. Nightscream 02:32, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

AFI External Link

The external link to the AFI page is the best thing about this page. It's absolutely of no value whatsoever. The whole article should be deleted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.155.50.25 (talk) 23:10, August 23, 2007 (UTC)

AFI's 50 Greatest American Films of All-Time

In 1977, the AFI made a list of the 50 greatest American films of all time. I know 48 of the films that made the list, but can't find out the other two. Does anyone else have information on it?

And, in case you want to know, the 48 I know are: 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968); The African Queen (1951); All About Eve (1950); All Quiet on the Western Front (1930); All the President's Men (1976); Ben-Hur (1959); The Best Years of Our Lives (1946); The Birth of a Nation (1915); The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957); Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid (1969); Cabaret (1972); Casablanca (1942); Chinatown (1975); Citizen Kane (1941); City Lights (1931); Dr. Strangelove (1964); Fantasia (1940); The General (1927); The Godfather (1972); The Godfather Part II (1974); Gone with the Wind (1939); The Graduate (1967); The Grapes of Wrath (1940); High Noon (1952); Intolerance (1916); It Happened One Night (1934); It's a Wonderful Life (1946); Jaws (1975); King Kong (1933); Lawrence of Arabia (1962); The Maltese Falcon (1941); Midnight Cowboy (1969); Modern Times (1936); Nashville (1975); On the Waterfront (1954); One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975); Psycho (1930); Rocky (1976); Singin' in the Rain (1952); Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937); The Sound of Music (1965); Star Wars (1977); A Streetcar Named Desire (1951); Sunset Blvd. (1950); To Kill a Mockingbird (1962); The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948); West Side Story (1961); The Wizard of Oz (1939). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.255.127.59 (talk) 02:11, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

IP edit

This diff from October last year changed Doug Ellin to Edward James Olmos. Is this verifiable? Charles Matthews (talk) 09:58, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
