Not long

The middle of the article characterizes caprylic acid as a "long chain fatty acid" by no definition I know is a 8 carbon chain a long chain acid. It is also asserted that it is difficult to absorb because of this, an 8 carbon FA should be easier to absorb that most of the fats we normally digest.

Been fixed. Most refs call it a "medium chain" FA. - Rod57 (talk) 01:34, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Antifungal

If some one can cover why this substance is antifungal and what evidence there is that it actually is, that would be appreciated.

Yes, but show us the benefits vs. regular MCT oil or regular coconut oil. And which dose has been proven effective.
