The subject matter of this article (cellular compartment) and the

compartmentalization (biology) article largely overlap. The former article answers the question "what" while the later article concerns "why" and "how". It is somewhat artificial to split this subject into two articles. Furthermore, both are short stubs requiring expansion and this would be easier to do from one unified article compared to two fragmented articles. Boghog (talk) 20:52, 7 December 2010 (UTC)[reply

Completely agree, lets merge it. Actually, even if not merged, the importance on the scales should be switched. Actually up to now, I understood the topic of
