Side effects

The second section (beginning, “[c]ommon side effects include...”) seems odd to me. I’m not educated in what is & isn’t considered a side effect, but I find “[s]erious side effects are rare. They include suicide...” to be strange. I (not a doctor) would not consider suicide as a side effect of a drug just the same as I would not consider a pregnancy a side effect of alcoholic beverages. In my opinion, decisions based on a drug’s effect aren’t side effects in their own right, but suicidal tendencies would be. After all, a chemical can’t make someone have a decision, but it can certainly lead her into acting upon it. I think the section below that mentions the adverse effects puts it better than this section. Dfcorrea00 (talk) 23:56, 31 October 2017 (UTC) Dfcorrea00 (talk) 23:56, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Some medications result in higher rates of suicidal thoughts / suicide which is a side effect. And this is how it is generally presented in the medical literature. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 01:32, 1 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I can't believe this still hasn't been fixed. I've added the archive link with InternetArchiveBot now, it should work correctly.
