Remove: "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" as a studio album as it is a mixtape. The reason that it is being sold for money makes no sense, as Drake's third mixtape "So Far Gone" is being sold on iTunes and select retailers, and is still considered a mixtape. Drake has stated himself that it is a mixtape, verbally and in the liner notes of said mixtape. Mixtape was to be released for free, but the record label Cash Money pushed for a retail release for monetary purposes.

Feuds are a part of hip-hop competition. Many feuds within hip-hop have been notable in an artist's career, including Drake. While not every feud is notable, some, which become the talk of the culture, are notable and have significant effects on one's career. Remove: Jayo68 actually already made part of my point for me, "Feuds are a part of hip-hop competition". They are exactly right, disses and harsh comments are made in rap music every day, if we reported on every time Nicki Minaj made a disparaging comment in a song, her article would double in length, it's a part of the culture and 90% of the time, the "fued" lasts little over a week or so, and isn't notable at all. The only Drake feud worth keeping is his one with Chris Brown, which eventually got physical I believe, and lasted well over two years, but an entire dedicated section to drivel such as "Common released a song entitled "Sweet", which included lyrics critical of rappers who sing, although this criticism was not aimed specifically at Drake"? Keep Notable beefs should be included. Not just any time something harsh is said about another artist. Let's not go overboard here. I do agree that the Common beef could be removed. I do not object. The Chris Brown beef is notable, so is the Meek Mill, being that it is current and lasted more than "a week" as you put it. It's also received an overwhelming amount of media coverage and continues to be a topic of discussion in hip-hop. Also, it should be noted that both HipHopVisionary and Ilovemexico99, along with some other accounts are currently being investigated as registered by the same user. There is no consensus here, certainly not a clear one: I have closed dozens, if not hundreds such discussions, and there is no clear consensus here. It's not about numbers anyway (read SummerPhD's comment above), and there's a pretty solid argument by User:Azealia911 (who's a pretty rock-solid editor, as it happens, with good common sense) for deleting a bunch of the material. Remove. I just spent a fair amount of time revising this section, but it's only tangentially significant at best and it doesn't add anything of value to the overall article. What's more, the sources are largely conjectural and I just don't see them holding up on a biographical article. I agree wholeheartedly that it should be removed. My last suggestion for an edit would be to reference the usage of meme's at OVO while drake sang back to back.

It's kinda stunning that Drake's Wikipedia page has zero mentions of "Hotline Bling," considering it hit #2 on the Billboard charts, had it's dance mimicked by an NFL receiver during a game (http://fansided.com/2015/10/25/mark-ingram-hotline-bling-dance-td-video/), and has a mention on Wikipedia's own List of Internet phenomena page. A simple google search of Hotline Bling reveals hundreds of news articles, calling the dance the newest internet meme. And Wikipedia has NOTHING on Drake's page? Controversies Section Edit Warring
One editor in particular has taken it upon themselves to continually revert the Controversies section to an older revision without justifying it here on Talk. A few notes I've made on the Administrators' Noticeboard about this specific issue (which I will add here, on this article, for posterity, as it's this WP article that's being affected):
I previously cleaned up a section of the article for clarity, neutrality, and encyclopedic language: "Cleaned up Controversy section. Deleted references to Rihanna re: Chris Brown because none of the citations explicitly referred to the CB feud; feel free to re-add with applicable sources only. Deleted uncited passages re: Meek Mill."
In turn I reverted this edit, believing it may have been done in error, and if not, then to justify it in Talk: "A previous edit reverted to an old version of the Controversies section. If done deliberately, explain this in Talk. Do not revert to old edits without justification."
Editor did not justify their revert in Talk and reverted again: "You're the one making big changes to the section before proper consensus has been reached."
As the edit improved clarity, did NOT delete any of the original cited information from the article, and there was no discussion regarding this on the Talk page, I reverted his second revert: "This section is not sacrosanct because it's disputed in Talk. Newer revisions improve writing and omit no content; your reverts are unjustified."
Editor reverted a third time, again with no discussion on Talk: "Reverts MIGHT be fine if you weren't adding opinionated, pro-Drake content to a section thats literally about feuds and needs to remain unbiased." Note that I did not add anything new to the section.
The dispute regarding this section (below: "Feuds") is over relevance. It is not about the quality or neutrality of the writing in the section, which I have given you the opportunity to (finally) contest civilly and collaboratively here. Your previous involvement on the Talk page (below) does not explicitly address this discussion, but even if you already did, your opinion does not justifiably impede upon the improvement of the article.
The dispute over the relevance of the Controversy section makes neither the section nor your preferred version of the section sacrosanct. Mine is not sacrosanct either, but you have eliminated it outright without justifying your cause. Seeing as my contribution (AGAIN: rewritten for clarity, encyclopedic language, deleted unsourced conjecture as is expected of WP editors) was reverted without explicit discussion or collaboration, I only see myself justified in restoring it.
So the Talk page discussion (which you neglected to form yourself) is here now for you to share your concerns and collaborate. You don't accomplish that by reverting impulsively and failing to explain yourself. So I'm going to revert now to the updated revision and I expect to hear your concerns about it on here.Antinate (talk) 17:08, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
I think it's worth noting, that every single thing you've accused me of doing, you also have done. My stance has been and always will be that controversy/feud sections must be unbiased and stick strictly to facts. You have not done that and rewrote the sections to favor Drake. I'm sorry, but I fail to see how you could not have applied your edits and omissions to my update to the article. In fact, I'm confident that you never once looked at the diffs of my first rewrite to the Controversies section nor acknowledged my continued insistence that I did not add any new content to the section that had not been written in by previous editors. PLEASE LOOK!!! If some other editor added in parts to the section that you disagree with, and I had since then rewritten the section before you caught on to those other editors' additions: I'm not apologizing for that because that's how Wikipedia works, plain and simple. It's a collaborative process, and being reverted from the changes you made to your personal-favorite diff is one of the pitfalls of editing decrepit versions of the section. It gives you no authority to completely wipe out any proofreading done to the section since then, so quit this foolish tantrum you're having, revise the specific proofread passages that bother you, and move on. There was no proof or a leaked video of him throwing bottles at Chris Brown in a club and Drake and Meek Mill still follow each other on Twitter. Common and Pusha T are irrelevant towards Drake's career. This trivial section is causing to many edit wars and disputes on Drake's article. This article should only be about Drake's career not rumors and other rappers. On the Wikipedia page it lists many of drake’s accomplishments and then says, “His work has earned him a Grammy Award, three Juno Awards, six BET Awards, and set several significant Billboard charts records.” Although this is accurate, Drake achieved 2 grammy award nominees and 2 juno awards before he even came out with his first official album, “Thank Me Later”. Considering this is a pretty impressive achievement, I think it should be mentioned on the Wikipedia page. I do not think the above statement should be changed just after the sentence is added, "Even before Drake's first official album he was credited with 2 grammy award nominees and 2 juno awards."
Also another piece of interesting information is the first person who signed drake to a publishing deal. This man was the West Coast Creative President of EMI Music Publication, 'Big' Jon Piatt. I think this information should be listed in the first paragraph after the sentence about Lil Wayne's Young Entertainment.
