The curing of F was not done by Plunkett et al. Removing the text there. I need to look up when it was actually done, but I suspect it was done by Esther Lederberg. --JimHu (talk) 19:28, 3 June 2013 (UTC)

I changed "the primary model to study conjugation" to "a primary model to study conjugation". Whether it is still the best-studied model for conjugation is arguable; Agrobacterium T-DNA conjugation, for example, is an important model system for conjugation. Other systems, such as plasmids from Entrococcus are also well-studied. --JimHu (talk) 15:24, 14 June 2013 (UTC)
