What names and components to include
The current list appears to be only connexins named after the genes. The most commonly used nomenclature in the literature is based on molecular weight. I'll start adding this naming as well. Also vesicles, and proteins such as ZO-1 and sodium channels are starting to be localized in gap junction plaques as well. I'll start adding the names based on molecular weight to help readers ID the connexins in the literature. Maybe non-connexin components of gap junctions plaques at a later date, or should we have another list for gap junction plaques? Suggestions welcome. Tgru001 (talk) 02:51, 28 May 2023 (UTC)
