AvengerCon

I'm trying to find material about filming and creating AvengerCon. Getting some of that will put us where we need to be to move this to the mainspace already! - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:39, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Here are some potential sources if it's the kind of info you're looking for.
*‘Ms. Marvel’: Ryan Penagos Talks Hosting AvengerCon, Kamala Khan, and More - Marvel.com
-- Zoo (talk) 23:38, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I struck through the Penagos one because that didn't have anything specifically about the set etc. But I did see those other two as well! - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:37, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Parallels to the comics

I came across this on Reddit and thought it was possibly worth doing something with it for the production section similar to what we did with The Tomb, even if it's about the dialogue and not the set. -- Zoo (talk) 22:03, 11 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't seen any sites talking about this (or I haven't remembered if I have). Maybe reviews/recaps might mention such? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:11, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox poster

Should we use any of these posters for the infobox, or is it best to wait and see what posters are released for episode 2 to see if there is a theme/collection for the season?

As I noted, one of the posters is by the people who did the connecting art posters for Moon Knight that we use in the infoboxes, but I'm not sure if they're doing that for Ms. Marvel too. -- Zoo (talk) 15:53, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should wait to get more posters revealed, to see which ones will be most appropriate. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 15:58, 12 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

AvengerCon viral marketing site

Keep an eye out for any sites mentioning this: [1]. So far only The Direct has picked it up, but I suspect this will change soon. InfiniteNexus (talk) 20:26, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting. — SirDot (talk) 21:21, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've added it as an external link. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 20:03, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Samba

The CBR ref says the viewership info from Samba is over the first four days of the episode's release, which is incorrect. The tweet from Samba says five days, which is what it has been for the premieres since Loki (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Should we add the tweet as an additional source? -- Zoo (talk) 19:55, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that might be helpful. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 20:04, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sloth Baby Productions

Since the Sloth Baby Productions viral marketing YouTube channel has been taken down, I'm starting to doubt whether it was even official in the first place. There was no indication on the channel's page that this was officially from Marvel/Disney (unlike the AvengerCon website), and it wasn't verified. It's very well possible this was a fan upload (it's dated Jun 16, a week after the episode was released), and the takedown may have been due to copyright reasons. InfiniteNexus (talk) 21:51, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That's quite possible. Though just wondering, where did the full video come from? It wasn't in the episode, so that seemingly had to originate somewhere. Was it tweeted out at all? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:20, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Scratch what I said above. After some digging, it turns out the channel is linked at the bottom of every Marvel.com episode recap starting with Episode 2, so it's 100% official. I'm equally mystified as to why the channel was deleted. InfiniteNexus (talk) 16:59, 7 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ooh good catch! Yeah really odd that it no longer is active. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 17:09, 8 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
