Godzilla the Animated Series was fun and exciting and funny. And the monster battles were just as fun as watching the original Japanese series. It was good and it was a shame that it was cancelled with several episodes yet to air. Please try to edit the Godzilla the Animated Series page on Wikipedia so we try to remember the show as much as we can, besides the page needs new info on just about everything.

To anyone out there. Please contribute if you can, this is taking me ages to do. Thanks to anyone who provided monster profiles, especially whoever added the monster stats. Id you can tell me where to find them, I'd be very grateful. To Simple South. Sorry, but I have no idea who edited in all the Reign Of Fire stuff, so I couldn't think of any other way to contact them. To the Reign Of Fire fan. Stop editng with your rubbish. You wanna contribute, go ahead, but don't erase an entire section for kicks. I've got it all on word now anyway, so anything you ruin will be back up before you know it.

To whoever the hell put in the Dragmas section that they were an homage to the Reign of Fire film...how the HELL can you make an homage to a movie three years BEFORE it was made?

Also try to find out the sizes of all the monsters and their profiles and stats.T Tell me where to find the website or websites.

Try to get some pictures for the monsters. It will help.

I put back the monster stats, which I got from a website called WMW or World Monster Wrestling, you should go there, it has infomation on all sorts of monsters. I am not sure if the sizes and weights of the monsters are right but try to fix things if they aren't. I don't know how to get the the website into wikipedia but if you guys know how to, do it. There are also other websites with monster stats like The Monster Archives and Rodan's Roost: Kajiu Place.64.107.164.130 17:18, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah one more thing, I got some new information from a site called www.godzillauniverse.com Try to help out, please!

I was thinking maybe a section on recurring themes/gags throughout the series such as Nigel always getting destroyed every episode, Craven's crush on Elisie, Nigel always getting vandalised by Randy, Randy trying to chat up Monique etc etc. Just a suggestion. Cleanup

The monster profiles, at least, the ones that have been put in, are extensive and have spelling and grammer problems. The simple stuff can be cleaned up easily, but there is quite a bit of it, so it may take a while. Maybe we should make a seperate page to list the monsters, since this one's long enough with everything else. I'll do what I can to help.

Pictures

Hey! There are pictures of monsters godzilla foyght in the series at The Ultimate Godzilla:The Series episode guide.-User:Kongsaurus12.

The Aliens

Are the Tachyons these creature's official name? -- Lord Crayak

Merging

I think it Should be merged, there is not enough info for Zilla and this can be cut down a LITTLE bit.

  • Oppose. No. WHy should these be merged? This article covers the Television series, they other article covers the creature itself. This Godzilla or Zilla has he been dubbed, has appered in two movies and his own TV series. That is enough to warrent his own article. And the reverse would jsut clutter up the Zilla article. I think they are fine as to seperate articles. (Animedude 11:39, 6 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Godzilla's species

Zilla is not a lizard. It's a dinosaur, — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.55.89.17 (talk) 21:04, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Godzilla was indeed a dinosaur, however this series is not about the original Godzilla, but the Hollywood Godzilla (now usually referred to as Zilla). Hollywood re-imaged Godzilla as a mutated iguana that didn't have atomic breath or Godzilla's trademark roar - but this re-imaging was rejected by American audiences. Although the Japanese audience adopted it as "Zilla", a monster that is sometimes mistaken for Godzilla. So this "Godzilla" is indeed a lizard. 199.180.166.52 (talk) 02:46, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Audrey and Animal

Cant somebody put in this page that Audrey and Animal rom the film make cameos in the intro for the Series when Godzilla passes by in the city there is a girl who is a reporter and with hair similar to Audrey and theres a guy holding a camera wearing a cap in the same posesion as animal plus who else holds a camera like that since animal mostly had a camers when filming Zilla on tape when he is almost crushed by its foot and when he and Audrey follow Nick and the Frenchman to the nest. They are seen when a close up of his foot passes them by.

They actually appear in the series as these characters, so it more then just cameos. 199.180.166.52 (talk) 02:48, 21 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Headings for monster entries

Clearly, someone should go through this article and correct the headings for each of the monsters so that they do not all show up in the table of contents, as it looks ridiculous. This would be accomplished by changing the heading for each monster so that there are four equal signs (====) on each side of the heading, instead of the current three equal signs. The monsters would then appear as a subtopic of the "Monsters" section, instead of as it is now, where you basically have an empty "Monsters" section followed by a new section for each monster. I have modified the template used for the table of contents so that headings using four equal signs would not be listed in the TOC; it would simply display the "Monsters" heading.

Since I do not care about this show, nor particularly about this article, I am not going to go through and add 90 more equal signs to the article myself, but perhaps someone who is more emotionally invested (such as the person who originally merged in all that monster information without changing the headings) would like to do so. DVD Screw Up

The recently released DVD set for the show does indeed have all 40 episodes, but they're all out of order when compared to the listing here on Wikipedia.--68.105.106.50 (talk) 15:21, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Incidentally, having just binged the series out of curiosity, the listing here on wiki is wholly incorrect due to some pretty hefty continuity errors. One example is that monster island is created at the end of Monster Wars, but in the very next episode they're talking about the idea of starting something like monster island. More are if characters are in a relationship or not in season two. In one episode the team has some tranq guns, and the next episode they actually get them. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.57.123.249 (talk) 00:08, 31 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The airing was shown out of order and the DVD release actually puts it in Chronological order, I feel we should have a column showing the Chronological order for the showTVWolf (talk) 00:48, 17 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Episode list is all over the place

The episode list really needs an overhaul. The episodes were aired in the wrong order and numbering the episodes by air date means readers are going to walk away from this site not knowing the correct chronological order. The complete series has been out on DVD for five years now with the episodes all listed chronologically. Shouldn't the episode numbers be fixed up in spite of the air dates?
