Cleanup needed

In addition to the fact that this page isn't aligned with the MOS for DAB pages, I wonder why Greenwich, England gets top billing. Shouldn't locations in the UK be a sub-head of locations in general? I think it would work best as

– No clear primary topic given the large number of other uses, although some like

WP:USPLACE so this may make the London one far more likely than it but probably not especially given the number of other uses. Crouch, Swale (talk) 20:57, 21 February 2021 (UTC)[reply

  • Support per nomination. There are 53 entries listed at the Greenwich (disambiguation) page — far too many for one entry to rise above the combined notability of all the other entries. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 03:33, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. There is no primary here. Rreagan007 (talk) 22:44, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support per nom. No clear primary topic. Move disambiguation page to basename. Paintspot Infez (talk) 17:01, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Seems obvious that the source of Greenwich Mean Time, the world's universal time, is the primary topic. Clearly has the greatest long-term significance. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:39, 26 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Looking at google search results in a private window, 100% of the first four pages of search results for Greenwich -Wikipedia are for the district or closely derived uses (the borough and university). Repeating the same search on Tor using Duck Duck Go from an IP that geolocated to Newhaven, Connecticut produced a roughly even mix of hits for the place in Connecticut and the London district. A different tor exit node, this one geolocating to Telegana, India gave about 80% of results for the London district as did one geolocating to Frankfurt, Germany. Thryduulf (talk) 22:32, 27 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Thryduulf's excellent demonstration of the primary topic. Vaticidalprophet (talk) 22:03, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per Thryduulf and Nectrothesp, especially for the long term significance side. I find it hard to believe that most middle schools (or thereabout) aren't still teaching about the town, as the root of both the prime meridian (the basis of the most commonly used coordinate system, lat/lon) and GMT/UTC. It is basically the root of how the world travels and tells time. -2pou (talk) 05:08, 1 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
