This article is a hopeless muddle. The hypostome classification in the second half corresponds to the trilobite hypostome, not to ticks, but trilobites are nowhere mentioned! I've now turned it into a disambiguation page and moved the tick-related content to hypostome (tick). Grahbudd 08:07, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- I've restricted the current article to the structure in trilobites. Additional disambiguation is needed for Hypostome in hydrozoans (previously mentioned in this article, currently hidden in HTML), but I'm not yet sure it needs its own article; a redirect to an applicable existing section on cnidarian anatomy would likely suffice. --Animalparty-- (talk) 20:34, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
