Symptoms vs. signs ?
Why does the table have separate columns for "symptoms" and "signs" -- I don't see any difference. I suggest to merge them into one list, "symptoms". Peteruetz (talk) 01:13, 11 June 2021 (UTC)
- Symptoms are subjective, which means patient's experience while signs are objective, which means they are part of physical exam. patient vs physicians perspective. So they should stay separate 76.247.118.130 (talk) 23:31, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
Revert discussion
WP:FIXTHEPROBLEM by citing the full paper? --Slhfbvladjhvb (talk) 07:18, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
]
- I justified my revert because the source does not meet the criteria from WP:MEDRS. It is not a secondary source, it is absolutely ancient (28 years) and I have not seen bulimia mentioned in any of the key sources. I therefore remain opposed to the inclusion of bulimia nervosa in the list of causes. JFW | T@lk 12:15, 25 August 2021 (UTC)]
- WP:SECONDARY source? Also, the paper is entitled "Thyroid function in Bulimia nervosa" - how can you not see that bulimia is mentioned? -SLH (talk) 01:08, 26 August 2021 (UTC)]
- By the way, User:Tikisim's addition in February can be contributed to with Myxedema Psychosis: Systematic Review and Pooled Analysis [3] from Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment, a "peer-reviewed medical journal covering research in psychiatry and neurology". -SLH (talk) 01:45, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- @WP:MEDRS which lists the standards that we set for sources in medical articles. Please review those standards carefully and then address my points from my response from yesterday. JFW | T@lk 07:07, 26 August 2021 (UTC)]
<60 means less than 60.
“hypothyroidism is more common in people over the age of 60” but in the summary table it says onset <60. 2601:282:8880:3FF0:D141:4939:F092:B1E5 (talk) 17:52, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
