- Vote against. A stub with only dictionary definition is just fine. -- Taku 22:59, 12 Sep 2003 (UTC)
- Not really. Stubs with only a dictionary entry that do not have a proponent (someone to step forward and prepare an article) or pretty good potential for expanding into an article should not be stubs. They should be moved to Wikitionay and the "term" defined where it used. I think it could be irritating to a user to click on unfamiliar terms, expecting wisdom only to get a dictionary definition. I vote to delete - Marshman 23:38, 12 Sep 2003 (UTC)

- As it is listed on the stubs page, it probably doesn't need to go to 'Pages needing attention' as well. Removed from VfD as it had been there for 10 days with no consensus to delete. Angela 06:12, Sep 21, 2003 (UTC)
- Perhaps this definition could be incorporated into the the entry shares. I'm not sure dictionary definitions are appropriate as atand alone entries in any encyclopedia. Aurelius One

- Income per share could be defined right in the article. Fernkes 11:48, Sep 23, 2003 (UTC)
- It should be called EPS (Earnings Per Share) that is the common term i see in US. Go to finance.yahoo.com and look up any company and its EPS will be listed.
