SI System Not Used Completely Everywhere
Outside of universities, I have yet to hear anyone call weight, Newtons. About everyone calls weight kilograms even for commerce. And the kilogram is not a unit of weight in the SI system. Therefore, hardly anyone is using the modern metric system in daily life. The old kilograms-force that is part of the old metric system lives on and seems will never die. Just like the obsolete time scale, GMT.
