The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that World War II Imperial Japanese Navy light cruiser Kuma was torpedoed by a Royal Navy submarine while engaged in anti-submarine warfare training? There are contradictions between dates stated in the article and in the sidebar. andrew8

It is highly unlikely that the Torpedoes fired on the Kuma in April 1942 are Mark 18 Torpedoes. These torpedoes were meant for submarines and were only designed in April 1942. Henryjones000 (talk) 01:12, 19 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
