Canadian news shows

Anyone here in Canada who can tell us about the two exclusive Canadian shows? Like are there new episodes on weekends? How long are episodes available for? Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doppy88 (talkcontribs) 04:44, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Renewals

Punk'd, Singled Out, and Reno 911! are all listed in this article as having been renewed, but the links given as sources don't seem to confirm this about any of the shows. Can anyone shed any light on this? 148.59.195.168 (talk) 20:56, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ref 19 states that "Punk'd" and "Singled Out" were given 20-episode orders. Only 10 episodes have been released for each show, so they have been renewed for a second season. The source for "Reno 911!"'s renewal states that Quibi ordered 25 additional episodes of the show. Season 7 consisted of 12 episodes so it has been renewed for a 13-episode season 8. Similarly with "50 States of Fright", it was given a two-season order. Apd9696 (talk) 10:16, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Pop5 / Musicology with Tim Kash

Noticed that Pop5 has been removed from the service and seemingly been replaced by Musicology with Tim Kash. Tim Kash did host Pop5 and both shows are produced by iHeartRadio. Does anyone have any information regarding this, or is it safe to say that the shows are the same and Pop5 should be replaced with the new title? Apd9696 (talk) 15:27, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Branded content section

Is the "branded content" section really necessary? None of the available titles are produced by Quibi (only the Quibi Trailers were but they aren't available anymore on the service) and they all seem to be for promotional purposes (I'm guessing that's the point though). Does anyone have any thoughts? Apd9696 (talk) 08:15, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It's been a month and no one's said anything, so I'm just going to assume it's OK to remove that section. Apd9696 (talk) 15:59, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

App shutdown

So, how do we go about the Status columns? I’m figuring we just take it out or changed everything to ended but I felt I should come here and inquire before making a big change like that. Rusted AutoParts 04:05, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I honestly don't know, they haven't gone into much detail about what's going to happen. I feel like we should wait until more information is announced, and my feeling is that there will be a lot of pickups from other networks/studios, so we shouldn't immediately assume that all these shows are cancelled. I think we should change everything back to what it was before because we shouldn't really assume the shows have ended just because Quibi's shutting down. They have a lot of projects supposed to be releasing later this year and some currently filming or in post and nothing's been said about what's going to happen with these. My best guess is to wait and change the statuses of the shows to what they were before yesterday's announcement. Apd9696 (talk) 08:23, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This Variety article says that
CBS Television Studios is shopping Most Dangerous Game to another network and I think that this is what will happen to most if not all of the titles on this list.Apd9696 (talk) 14:23, 22 October 2020 (UTC)[reply

They've ended on Quibi though and this is a Quibi page. I started to change them before I read this. I'll stop now. I'll revert those edits. But I think they should read ended as they've ended on Quibi. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 03:25, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I do agree with you. But as much as this is correct we also can't assume that shows have ended just because the service has shut down. These shows are probably on the market right now waiting for a new network which could renew when they take up the rights, so we should look at every show on an individual basis and not as a Quibi original. We could add a note or something in writing to indicate that all future seasons of shows listed here will not air on Quibi but all renewed shows technically do still have a renewal pickup, so saying they have ended is incorrect. Both ways could be misleading but I'm thinking if we say that the next seasons won't be on Quibi it should be OK. Apd9696 (talk) 09:52, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Today
HBO Max announced they had picked up the series Public Figures for development. This is what I think will be the first of many upcoming shows to be shopped to a new network and I'm sure something similar will also happen with current shows. Also, Public Figures is listed here under "formerly announced original programming", so I was just wondering as it has moved network should we remove it from the list and every other title until there is nothing here or leave it here to show that it was in development at Quibi for a bit. I think we should remove it because it has been scrapped at Quibi and Quibi now has nothing to do with the show. Apd9696 (talk) 18:15, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply

Every show that was developed by and streamed on Quibi should be left but only the seasons that aired. It should state that it was moved elsewhere and specifically to where. But it can also state that it ended on Quibi even if continued somewhere else. Samurai Kung fu Cowboy (talk) 02:34, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

List of Roku original programming

Should there be a List of Roku original programming page, now that Quibi content is being rebranded into Roku Originals? wizzito | say hello! 06:23, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I don't think that would be possible at the moment since Roku didn't have much of the titles that has been released under them over Quibi releases. Maybe it's best to build original programming through The Roku Channel before making an expansion. If wanted to built that page, you could let me know when I'm available. – VernardoLau (talk) 13:14, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
