In the column "Terminals", I think the better term would be "End Points".

"End points" sounds like the term they use for delivery trucks and cabs ;). Terminals is actually the standard label used in bus routes list articles. See List of bus routes in Manhattan for example.--RioHondo (talk) 09:43, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification only...

From what I read these bus routes are only valid during GCQ period. The LTFRB only issued special permits to buses, these are not new franchises. Johngabriel.ibay (talk) 10:44, 26 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed new layout for the route lists

While waiting for the LTFRB to release updated route colors for their new list of PUB routes, I decided to make a new layout for the list of bus routes here.

Changes from the current layout:

  • Since there are bus route names again, I decided to add a column for it, with the "via" suffix being made smaller.
  • The route number and color now share the same cell, similar to the RouteBox used for them
  • Due to some routes having different route structures for NB/SB and EB/WB direction, I added a distinction between roads that are traversed in all directions or only some directions.
  • Terminal stops now emphasize the location of the stop, similar to that in the express routes table. The localities could name the business district/development, city/municipal district, and city/municipality, or just the city/municipality.
  • Additionally, to make the table look less cluttered, stops and intersections have been omitted. Both of these changes are meant to comply with
    WP:NOTDIRECTORY
    .
  • I adopted most of these changes and tweaks from the tables on the List of bus routes in Brooklyn article.

Feedback would be much appreciated! Ganmatthew (talkcontribs) 08:10, 26 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Update: I've transitioned the Local Service table to the new table layout, but not all routes have been updated yet. Furthermore, I noticed that many of the routes are not conforming to the new routes and modified routes on the recent LTFRB memos yet, so to anyone who sees this, feel free to edit the table if you can. Thanks!
