Comment

This list should be inverted in order to keep with the format for the

Locks on the River Thames article. Also, additional entries need inserting to maintain the locks' numbers. Ian Cairns

I've changed the order to go from Bristol to Reading & added some more info, I'm slowly doing entries for some of the locks. I've used the numbers as given in Pearsons' guide (& also shown on lock gates) but some have been removed over the years so there appear to be gaps. — Rod talk 09:04, 4 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Layout

I've changed the layout to include grid refs, listed building status etc & explanatory notes - but wonder if people have better ideas about how this should be laid out? — Rod talk 21:30, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Converting OSGB36 (OS grid refs) to coords on this list and others

I have started a discussion about converting the OSGB36 (OS grid refs) on this list and others to use

Template:GeoGroupTemplate to enable mapping on googlemaps etc. I have been told that a bot could be tasked to do this, however this would be quite a significant change and would not want to do it without consensus. If anyone has any comments could they join the discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Geographical coordinates#Automagically converting OSGB36 to coord?.— Rod talk 16:15, 18 December 2011 (UTC)[reply
