I think the mantle zone is the area of the lymph follicle surrounding the germinal center, and not the area of the lymph node. Ehudzel (talk) 18:51, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The mantle zone is actually the outer ring of small lymphocytes that encircles the germinal center of a lymphatic nodule or follicle according to Ross Histology text and atlas, 5th addition, p. 414. I will change the page to reflect this... Mba123 (talk) 15:47, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
