Dr. Vanja Stanišić in his work "Из историје примене словенске писмености за албански језик" mention thesis of N. Jokl, H. Barić and V. Polak (Н. Јокл, X.Барић и В. Полак изнели су претпоставку да је управо она служила као најстарије национално писмо Албанаца. Сва три аутора заснивају своју претпоставку на пет ћириличких знакова за особене албанске гласове у првој албанској штампаној књизи, Мисалу Ђона Бузукуа из 1555. На основу чињенице да су неке од тих Бузукуових знакова употребљавали у својим радовима северноалбански писци XVII века, а да при том нико од њих за Бузукуа није знао, X. Барић тврди да се у Албанији писало словенским писмом "пре него је под утицајем католичке цркве овладала латиница, а и после, где је за млетачке владе у Скадру још почетком 15. века постојала словенска канцеларија".).

This thesis say that the oldest alphabet of Albanians was Cyrillic, under Slavic influence. The origin of this thesis is Meshari and five Cyrillic letters used instead of Latin.

I think that this thesis is very interesting. Maybe it could be included in the text of this article, with clear note that this is only a thesis without consensus in academic circles? Comments are welcomed.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 18:33, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What does that mean, " In 1930, the book was photocopied for the first time by Father Justin Rrota, who brought a copy to Albania" ? There is even a link to the Wikipedia article "Photocopy", but there were no photocopies back in 1930. I guess the book was photographed, page by page, but this could only be written in the main page by someone who knows. --Zxly (talk) 03:58, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

"Dry" photocopying or xerography didn't become commercially available until the beginning of the 1960s, but there were a number of other processes available, such as the Photostat machine... -- AnonMoos (talk) 19:41, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the explanation. I think that Zxly is right. Today photocopied does not mean photographed but xerography. If that is the case, then it is better to use photographed expression instead of photocopied.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 19:55, 4 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
