Millennium Necklace/Tauk

Everything else on this page, and the vast majority of other Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikipedia pages, uses the original Japanese terminology first, and the English dub terminology second, so let's keep it in line with that.

Images

We need pictures of all the items.

I have newer images of all seven that I added.--Dil 19:24, 22 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Millennium Shield?

Kinda feels like it should at least be mentioned... it's flavor text says it's like a Millennium Item...

But this article deals with the actual Millennium Items of the series, not the cards that mention them or "like". "Like" a Millennium Item is not the same. - The One and Only 20:27, 17 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

However, the cards says: "A Millennium Item, it's rumored to block any strong attack."

There are only seven Millennium Items. And this is also the translated card, which may or may not be true to the original Japanese text of the card. 65.32.108.38 (talk) 22:55, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Shadow Realm

I changed the mentioning of the shadow realm in the Ring section because the ring cannot have powers involving the shadow realm if it doesn't exist in the original versions.

Millennium Rod

Didn't Solomon Moto's past life own it?

No, read the article. Kaiba Seto's past life, Priest Seto, owned the rod. Look up pictures, too. 65.32.108.38 (talk) 22:56, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

One of Two Millenium Items

I noticed that the Millenium Key, Necklace, and Rod all say that they are one of two items in the possession of the guardians of the Pharoh's Tomb. Which ones actually are? This needs to be referenced by a credible source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rucha58 (talkcontribs) 18:13, 30 March 2008 (UTC) As the official guardians of the Pharaoh's tomb, Ishizu has the Necklace and Marik has the Rod. However, Shadi, who also identifies himself as a guardian, has the Key and the Scales. JuJube (talk) 03:16, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What to do?

What do we do with this page. there are no sources cited. I don't know anything about the manga/anime/game so I wouldn't know the first place to merge it (and it appears from discussion that there is no one place to merge it. this isn't a BLP or anything so we can wait while sources get found but are there any? Do we, at this point, delete all unverified claims? I won't do that unilaterally because I would basically be blanking the page. How do we proceed from here? • I have to say that I think my suggestion was the best one. :/ JuJube (talk) 23:47, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The article itself isn't very notable. It should probably be merged into each item's owner's articles, or stuck in the
List of Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and manga characters with the character. Just one or two sentences that explains that that person owns it and what the item does. I doubt this article will ever get the reception and concept/creation notes it needs to be C-class, let alone GA. WhiteArcticWolf (talk) 00:02, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply

Is there someone who knows enough about the subject matter to do that? I certainly don't. Protonk (talk) 00:10, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Still no sources

this article still doesn't cite any sources. I'm not an expert on the subject and I don't own any of the material so I won't try to merge this puppy but we at least need to find primary sources to cite facts in this article, let alone secondary sources to establish notability. If we can't do that I'm happy with taking this article back to AfD. Protonk (talk) 16:01, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't know if you'll have any success the second time, unfortunately. :( JuJube (talk) 16:11, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
