Hello. I aim to get this review done within a week from now. Steelkamp (talk) 14:00, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Good article criteria

Well written

  • To comply with
    MOS:SURNAME
, subsequent mentions of his given name beyond the first sentence should be replaced with his surname.
     Done
  • This claim had been refuted by the Islamic State in October 2016... Can this be changed to This claim was refuted by the Islamic State in October 2016...
     Done
  • ...during a visit 2006... Change to ...during a visit in 2006...
     Done
  • I feel the first sentence of the lead doesn't adequately introduce Mohammad Saifullah Ozaki to readers. I would mention he was a member of IS, which is the most important piece of info about him.
     Done
  • I also think the lead should mention he was raised as Hindu and converted to Islam in Japan.
     Done

That's it for the prose review. Its a very well written article. I have made some small changes myself in addition to the three above points. I'll do a source review next and I expect to have some comments about broadness in coverage. Steelkamp (talk) 15:43, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verifiable with no original research

Luckily since there are not that many references, I managed to spot check all of them. I found no issues there, although I made a few minor changes to citation formatting myself. Steelkamp (talk) 06:59, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Broad in its coverage

I found nothing that could be used to expand this article in my spot check of the references. However, when looking at the Japanese Wikipedia article on Ozaki, I found this source, which says his three remaining children travelled back to Japan after he was arrested in 2019. That could be added to the "Personal life" section. Steelkamp (talk) 06:59, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Added.

Neutral

Stable

Illustrated, if possible

No images, understandably. Steelkamp (talk) 06:59, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

General

Only a few things to fix. A short but good article. Steelkamp (talk) 06:59, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your kind and helpful review. I've taken care of everything, although I noticed a slight hiccup in the article's first sentence: "born 1982" in is parentheses, while "as Sajit Chandra Debnath" is not, something more noticeable when previewing the article as parenthesized segments are hidden. There is also no comma before the word "also" in the same sentence. However you feel is best to address this is fine with me. Anonymous 18:34, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I've improved that sentence based on the examples at
MOS:BIRTHNAME. There is possibility for further improvement, but I'll leave it as that for now and pass the review. Steelkamp (talk) 02:44, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply

I've added the article to the "Political figures" GA category, although I'm not 100% certain that is the best category. Feel free to move it somewhere else if you think that would be better. Steelkamp (talk) 02:54, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
