Initial comment
You were right, it goes from N-terminus to C-terminus.
Proposed move
I'm suggesting to move this page to N-terminus. The reason for this is that N-terminus is the preferred term in textbooks and scientific literature. I did a PubMed search and came up with the following hits for N-terminus and its variations:
- N-terminus: 16,128 hits
- N-terminal domain: 6,194 hits
- Amino-terminus: 6,167 hits
- NH2-terminus: 1,875 hits
- N-terminal end: 1,016 hits
- N-terminal tail: 309 hits
- Amine-terminus: 21 hits

Zip Codes?
I'm not sure I like the reference to zip codes. Do you think we could remove that, or at least find a better analogy? Abergabe (talk) 15:48, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
N-Terminus versus 5' and 3' ends of mRNA?
Could someone please add an authoritative statement regarding how the N-Terminus does or does not correspond to 5-prime and 3-prime ends of the mRNA? Gwideman (talk) 23:43, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
