Article needs consistency and clarity

A couple of points to help you:

1. "The Neon Tetra was first imported from South America and was described by renowned ichthyologist Dr. George S. Myers in 1936, and named after Dr. William T. Innes."

Doesn't state where it was imported to.

2. "aquarium of at least 10 gallons" is inconsistent in the article which uses SI units (as it should imho) and acceptable non-SI units. This should be changed to litres.

3. "are best kept in schools of five to eight or more" doesn't read well. Best kept implies a single answer but two are provided here. Consider "five or more" or if there is a maximum number that would be acceptable to add as it defines and upper and lower limit.

4. Before units, there is a space. I have made these changes.

5. The article says a lot of "some say ...". This needs to be made specific and references need adding throughout. There is currently only one.

Usage

The term BLACK NEON TETRA is less commonly used. The fish's distinct shape often mean people refer to it only as a Black Tetra as it is rarely misconceived to be a alternative colouration of P. Innesi —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.195.63.126 (talk) 23:51, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Communication

Do you know how Neon Tetras (the blue and red kind) communicate? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.175.239.95 (talk) 02:26, 28 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
