I have read somewhere that, as the songs were written before casting Elphaba, No Good Deed was written with Eden Espinosa's vocal style and range in mind as opposed to Defying Gravity, which was written with Idina's in mind. As far as I know, this is true in any key save for half-diminished. Also, a ninth is generally more obscure material than a second. The relation does not appear relevant. Bosredsox24 (talk)
