- Looking at this article and the sources I found relating to nourseothricin, I thing that the description of nourseothricin as a single compound is incorrect. Looking at the Jena Biosciences source that is cited, it clearly shows that there are different lengths of beta-lysine chains and provides the letters C,D,E,F to denote different constituent species. From a different source [1] ....is the dihydrogensulphate of the weakly basic antibiotic nourseothricin, consisting of the components streptothricin F, E and D..
I think that this article needs redrafting to provide suitable clarification. --The chemistds (talk) 16:28, 10 August 2015 (UTC)
