Merge and Title

It seems either Wissam al-Hassan should be merged into here or the opposite. FunkMonk (talk) 22:38, 19 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There are two articles about Rafic Hariri and Assassination of Rafic Hariri then why not two articles here.

I think the best way to solve this issue is to keep Wissam al-Hassan's page while renaming this one October 2012 Beirut Bombing. This way, we can make a point of the other victims and they do not go forgotten too. Agree with Karim26. Hassam was kill among 7 other people so I think this isn´t a very right name. Moreover, we don´t know 100% that he was the target (although personally for me it is as clear as crystal)--Comet21 (talk) 15:35, 20 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The current

WP:PRIMARYTOPIC; nearly every article I've seen about this bombing either explicitly mentions Wissam al-Hassan outright, or say that it killed a high-level Lebanese official as a reference to him (with some sources in this very article calling it an assassination). It's pretty clear that this fact is by far the most significant aspect of the bombing, and changing the title to something that mentions al-Hassan would be an easy way to make this article distinguishable from the many other Beirut bombings.
