Maybe this article's title should be spelled out as Pacific Air Lines Flight 773. Philippine Airlines is also appreviated "PAL", and at one point or another there probably was a Flight 773. :p Coffee 04:06, 20 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The article reads: “With Flight 773 minutes from landing, Gonzales, seated directly behind the cockpit, burst into the cockpit and shot both pilots twice. [...] before shooting himself [...]“ and further “Investigators from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) found in the mangled wreckage a damaged Smith & Wesson Model 27 .357 Magnum revolver, holding six spent cartridges.“ (bold text by me).

Good morning @Dimadick:, Can you please explain how this falls under Mass shootings in the United States? It states "a gunman kills at least four victims" and "A broader definition, as used by the Gun Violence Archive, is that of "4 or more shot or killed, not including the shooter" This definition, of four people shot regardless of whether or not that results in injury or death, is often used by the press and non-profit organization". It was already listed in the List of mass shootings in the United States. The article itself identifies the shooting victims as Captain Ernest Clark, First Officer Ray Andress, the shooter himself Francisco Paula Gonzales. Dimadick (talk) 16:55, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No problem personally, but it is contradicted by the definitions it the list: "Mother Jones: 3+ shot and killed in one incident, excluding the perpetrator(s), at a public place, excluding gang-related killings." Dimadick (talk) 17:16, 13 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
