Shadow the Hedgehog

Was this the same Powerman 5000 that made the song " almost dead" in Shadow the Hedgehog?

Please answer.Ollie the Magic Skater 03:04, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Yes it is.

Some pages on more of the band members, some more albums and Megatronic Records would be good.

Bombshell and the WWE

The game wasn't actually the first time the WWE used Powerman 5000. For some time a few years ago, the Dudley Boyz used to stomp in to Bombshell.

NOT Featured in Guitar Hero

NONE of Powerman 5000's songs have been featured in Guitar Hero, or have been confirmed for Guitar Hero II. Deleting the offending line.

Did nt PM5K made a cover of the song "you realy got me now" for Desperate Housewives trailer ?

Frankie Goes To Hollywood cover?

This goes back a few months, but I'll give the whole story behind it. It might start irrelevant, but it gets to the point ;)

After seeing a YTMND - can't the remember the URL off the top of my head - containing the song "You Spin Me Right Round" performed by a band under the name "Dope", I recall seeing elsewhere a PM5K song under the same title, sounding exactly the same. Did PM5K really do a cover of the song, or was that a mistake made to the person to supplied the file? (Like with Queen with "Mr. Roboto") 194.83.164.22 14:51, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

To the best of my knowledge, PM5K has never covered "You Spin Me Right Round", no. I haven't followed them much recently, but I do know that Dope did a cover and so did Blind Passengers, so it's likely you heard one of those. Col.clawhammer 18:38, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

They did a cover of "Relax" for the Zoolander movie. 69.92.252.96 (talk) 21:54, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

True Force

How come there is no information about True Force on the discography or it's own article? It's mentioned in the article but not included... Livingston 08:16, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

It specifically says that Powerman's vocals are NOT RAPPED. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.250.145.56 (talk) 21:48, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

Copies, Clones & Replicants?

Is there a particular reason the discog template has a page link for CC&R yet the page is simply a redirect to this article? I assume the redirect exists for the aid of people searching for the album by title, but I would think it should be unlinked in the template since there's no actual page with specifics about the album. I don't want to step on any toes by changing it myself, as I'm a sparse contributor. --Crimson Bleeding Souls (talk) 23:29, 31 March 2014 (UTC)

The timeline should probably use the alias' that the band uses to make things less confusing. -Xcuref1endx (talk) 04:13, 11 January 2015 (UTC)

Nu metal

Sources are great. I love citations. But not all sources are equal. If you're writing an article on evolution, you can't cite creationist sources because "Crocoduck disproves evolution" is not an argument against the indisputable evidence that evolution is fact. And when it comes to handling music artists, you've got to weigh in the evidence and see if this makes sense: What is clearly an industrial metal band, using the same musical style as Rob Zombie, is called nu metal by a handful of sources. Is nu metal on the Rob Zombie articles? No, because overwhelming evidence contradicts the handful of sources for nu metal. Or how about Rammstein, which some reviewers have described as a German nu-metal band but are overwhelmingly considered industrial metal? Do you really not see how critical research is important instead of just throwing up citations and saying "SOURCE!"? --50.39.251.41 (talk) 02:50, 27 July 2016 (UTC)

Singles and Music Videos removed?

Hello, Why were the single releases and the music videos removed?

Anakin94 (talk) 12:44, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

I have no clue as to why Anakin94. Having them there follows both Wikipedia MoS and the style of many other band articles. I had put back the single releases below the album releases, but someone just came in and undid that, giving no reason. I restored it, but perhaps we have a vandal? Keep editing and point out strange edits when you see them. 👍 ░▒▓ №∶72.234.220.38 (talk) 09:45, 17 June 2020 (UTC) ▓▒░

Reverting discography edits

Hello 95.222.238.39 or 95.222.236.136,

In this revert you say "The soundtrack list has been maintained for more than 10 years. It was clear and an important part.". That is great, but it is also, in it's entirety, located at the Powerman 5000 discography. When bands have their own discography articles, usually much of that content is moved away from the band's main article. This is what is being done here. Having short lists of albums, and perhaps the popular singles - with a link to the discography article - is normally what is kept. So, no important & maintained data is being deleted, it's all still available. Please post here with further concerns before doing further reverts. Thank you. ░▒▓ №∶72.234.220.38 (talk) 21:38, 17 June 2020 (UTC) ▓▒░
