Since "LP Gas Magazine" has a COI with the subject of the article, I am requesting the following changes for this page, which removes that source and only references the law enacted by congress that mandates the created of the Propane Education and Research Council. The changes are below. All other content should be deleted. Thanks Ryandutcher (talk) 18:18, 3 August 2017 (UTC)
Propane Education and Research Council
The Propane Education and Research Council (PERC) is a U.S. trade council that serves the propane industry. Created after the enactment of the Propane Education and Research Act of 1996,[1] the Council is authorized by federal law to facilitate programs to enhance safety, training, research and development, and consumer education.[1]
The Propane Education and Research Act (PERA) was passed by Congress in 1996.[1] It identified propane gas, or liquefied petroleum gas, as an essential commodity that provides heat, hot water, cooking fuel, and automotive fuel to millions of Americans, among other uses. Congress also noted the importance of propane as a clean alternative fuel that is predominantly produced in the U.S. [1]
Consisting of 21 members representing marketers, producers, and the public, PERC is officially authorized to “develop programs and projects to enhance consumer education and employee safety and training, provide research and development of clean and efficient propane utilization equipment, (and) to inform and educate the public about safety and other issues associated with the use of propane.”[1] Its offices are in Washington, D.C.

Independence of LP Gas Magazine
Since LP Gas Magazine has an editorial board including at least one member of Propane Education and Research Council [1], and the same person was formerly editor in chief of LP Gas. It is not an independent source for WP articles. ☆ Bri (talk) 16:23, 31 July 2017 (UTC)
