Description This looks good, though I think the contents of the first plaque mention should be put in a blockquote given how long it is, like so

Adopted and restored October 1991 through the generosity of Carl B. and Florence E. King Foundation / Communities Foundation of Texas / Margaret Hunt Hill / Mr. and Mrs. John M. Stemmons / Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Seay / The Family of Mrs. J. Early Lee / Barbara Foree Langston in memory of Robert L. Foree and Mrs. Kenneth Foree / Frank Ribelin / Kappa Alpha Order, Dallas Area Alumni / The Dallas Southern Memorial Association / Adopt-A-Monument.

The second and third plaques are rather brief sentences and don't necessitate this.

Creation

  • The statue Robert E. Lee on Traveller was made by Alexander Phimister Proctor.—I think it should be noted when it was made. What year did he start crafting it? Do we know when it was it finished?
  • Members of the Association were offended that the statue would depict a defeated South, so Proctor redesigned the statue to depict Lee as confidently marching forward.—need a reference for this.
  • Proctor eventually would come to believe that Lee "was never personally defeated," an idea popular in the Southern United States—reference needed, especially given the direct quotation.

Summary Aside from a few references being needed for certain sentences, this article covers the bases I think are necessary for something like a regional statue such as this. References all check out. If you can locate some references for the above passages and clarify a couple of minor points noted, I feel this meets GA standards. --Drown Soda (talk) 20:35, 25 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Drown Soda: I cannot find information on the dates that Proctor started and finished working on the statue. I have made all of the other changes that you requested.MagicatthemovieS (talk) 20:55, 25 July 2019 (UTC)MagicatthemovieS[reply]
Thanks, both! ---Another Believer (Talk) 21:06, 25 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@MagicatthemovieS: Thanks a bunch; if that information isn't available, it isn't available. No worries. --Drown Soda (talk) 21:09, 25 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
