• "in anticipation" implies he had prior knowledge or expectation of the papal brief which is not addressed in the body. If there are no sources to that effect, I suggest replacing with "before learning".

• "monastery" – most readers know what a monastery is, consider unlinking to avoid having too many unhelpful links
  • I think it's helpful because in modern English, monastery almost always refers to a community of monks (i.e. male monastics), but technically and historically could be a community of men or women. • "Colleges of St Omer and Liège" → "College of St Omer, Bruges, Belgium," – Source says "educated at St. Omer's and Bruges 1763–1768". Our article on the college says it moved to Liège in 1773 which is after he left
